With properties ranging from the $600,000s to $3 million, this is a community that provides a home for everyone in an incredible setting.
The Springbank Hill area was once the eastern portion of Springbank. Springbank Hill was established in 1999, on land annexed to the City of Calgary in 1994 and it is made up of numerous subdivisions, including Springborough, Summit of Montreux, Springbank Hill, The Slopes, Anatapi and Spring Valley.
In Springbank Hill, I love the contour of the land which provides a variety of green spaces and mountain views. With properties ranging from the $600's to $3M this is a community which provides a home for all. – David Pellettier, RE/MAX Real Estate (Central)
It is bounded to the north by 17th Avenue S.W., to the south by Stoney Trail, to the east by 69th Street S.W. and to the west by 101st Street S.W.
From shopping to recreation to outdoor activities, Springbank Hill offers residents a great place to live and play.
The shopping is right on its doorstep with the sprawling Aspen Landing to the north and the busy Westhills Towne Centre to the east. The popular shopping centres give residents access to a variety of stores, shops and services - from big box retailers to national brands to locally-run and operated restaurants and retail.
Recreation and the outdoors is an integral part of this community. Stepping outside from their homes, residents are wowed by the natural setting they see of the Prairie land and the Rocky Mountains in the distance. Springbank Hill is also home to many green spaces where people can enjoy a number of different outdoor activities such as hiking and walking or simply enjoy the pleasure of being outside and breathing in the fresh air in such a beautiful setting.
Places like Emira Park are peaceful natural settings conducive for a walk where often residents will come across a deer or two on their journeys.
For those who want a more structured experience when it comes to activity, the Pinebrook Golf & Country Club is right on the neighbourhood’s doorstep and the Westside Recreation Centre is a fabulous amenity with its broad offering of all types of sports, fitness and activities to satisfy everyone’s needs.
When it comes to education, the community is home to outstanding private schools such as Webber Academy and Rundle College as well as Ernest Manning High School and Ambrose University.
One of its major amenities is the road system which can help navigate people’s journeys in and out of the neighbourhood with ease. And of course the LRT line running up 17th Avenue S.W. with a station at 69th Street near the Westside Recreation Centre is an added bonus for the community.
